Dead Simple Calendar
Published:
I dislike how many taps it takes to enter an event in a typical calendar application. How about something as simple as a a calendar and a text area? This leaves the organization of each day completely up to you. The application saves as you type to reduce even more taps. Reminders are still done on a day level. If a specific text format is followed reminders are done on any time of the day as well. This type of calendar is good for planning on a macro level. Most calendars out there seem to be targeted for planning on a micro level. That gets annoying fast when all you want to do is mark that you have something to do three Saturdays from now. I can remember what time and where. Just remind me not to double book the day.
